Jared Hector DDS
Dr. Jared is the owner of Third Coast Family Dentistry. He is a native of Traverse City, MI. He also lived in Belize and spent his high school years in Indiana. It was in Indiana where his passion for dentistry blossomed when a dentist took him under his wing. Jared chose this path because he was able to see the compassion and care that can be provided to help improve the lives of so many people utilizing medical science and art.
Dr. Jared completed his undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University . It was there that he earned a bachelor of science degree in Biomedical Science. He then went on to graduate school at University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2016. Upon graduation, he received the P.C. Lowery Award as well as the Comprehensive Care Award.
Dr. Jared is an active member in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, and is a member of Spear Education.
Dr. Jared and his wife, Haley, met while both attending U of M Dental School. Dr. Jared and Haley welcomed their first child, Josie, in October 2021 and their son Blake in August 19, 2024. They rescued two wonderful dogs, Abby and Frankie, that you may see at the office from time to time.
When Dr. Jared is not caring for patients he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, biking, boating, attempting to play golf, and attending Michigan Football Games (Go Blue!).
Before joining Third Coast Family Dentistry, Dr. Jared gained his experience as a full-time practitioner at the Van Buren Health Department. He is motivated to help improve the lives of each and every patient and ensures all individuals' concerns are heard to provide the most comprehensive care possible.
John Anible II DDS
Dr. John joined Third Coast in May of 2025. He is a native of Grand Rapids. After high school, his pursuits lead him to attend the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies. He then went on to graduate at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2016.
Dr. John started his career alongside Dr. Jared and Dr. Anna while working as a dentist at the Van Buren/Cass District Health Department. He then expanded his skill set while working at a large multi-specialty practice in West Michigan.
Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. John is married to his beautiful wife Karlee, who is a pediatric dental hygienist. They recently got a fluffy corgi whose name is Peanut. John and Karlee enjoy spending together exploring Michigan, renovating houses, and sampling the best food scenes each town has to offer.
Anna Chipman-Bergsma DDS
Dr. Anna joined Third Coast Family Dentistry January 2026. She is a native of Fort Wanye, IN where she started her dental career in 2008 working chair-side as an expanded duties dental assistant with Dr. David N. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2017 where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Prior to joining Third Coast Family Dentistry in January 2026, she provided care for patients in Van Buren and Cass counties at the district health department community dental clinic for eight and a half years.
She enjoys treating patients of all ages, from all walks of life, and keeping smiles healthy and functional. Dr. Anna is member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
She regularly pursues continuing education courses in order to stay current in all aspects of dentistry. When not caring for patients, Dr. Anna is spending time with her husband and three children, running, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
